PURPOSE

This program facilitates calculating the corrected blow count in soil and assessing the material for liquefaction potential using empirical methods.

SET UP

Shut down all programs that may be running in the background. Failure to do so may result in an unsuccessful installation. During the initialization, certain Windows system files are . From the “Run” option under File, Type X:setup where X is the location of the file. The program will initialize the files required and set up the application in a default directory. Be sure to make a backup copy of the installation program.
Program requires Windows 95.

PROGRAM STATUS AND DISTRIBUTION

This program is shipped as a fully operational trial version that you may distribute freely. The evaluation period is 15 days. After 15 days, you must register the program or the program will not operate. When you purchase and register the program, you will receive a password within 24 hours. The password will unlock the program for an unlimited time. Save the password in a secure location because you will need it again if you reinstall the program and it is not easily available elsewhere.

You can only install the registered version on one machine. You can not change, re-engineer, or decomplile this program in any way. There are no exceptions. The program is copyright material that TAP Software owns. You have the righ to operate the program in accordance will all terms and limitations.

REQUIRED FILES

If you are running these programs on Win95 or Win98 you may require VB4 runtime files that are available from simtel.net if you find that certain files are missing. Many people do not experience this problem since these are common files that may already be installed on your system.

If you are running these programs on NT 4.0 you must have the VB5 run time libraries installed on your system. These libraries may already be installed depending upon what other program you may already have. If you experience an Error loading from file error message, you can download a free copy of the required files from simtel.net.
