Software for Design of Structural Concrete Walls,Discontinuities and Box-shaped Structures
SPanCAD is shareware. So, you can download and use it freely. The latest version of SPanCAD is made in July 2001.
SPanCAD enables a structural designer to draw a simple model of a concrete structure or structural element, perform various analysis and interpret the performance graphically. It can compute deflections, force distributions, crack widths, ultimate loads and ductility taking into account yielding of reinforcement and cracking or crushing of concrete. In subsequent design cycles, modifications can be easily made to shape, dimensions and reinforcement. The program proposes dimensions and provides a procedure for quick convergence of the design process.
System requirements
In order to install SPanCAD on your computer you need Windows 3.0 or higher and AutoCAD version 13 or 14 or AutoCAD 2000 installed and configured. SPanCAD uses only about 1.2 MB of your hard disk. Unfortunately, SPanCAD runs only on English language versions of AutoCAD
