AutoCIVIL.plus provides
greater power and value with a host of new features requested by
our users. The Plus expands AutoCIVIL’s already powerful yet
user-friendly civil engineering software features.
AutoCIVIL.plus decreases the learning curve for new employees,
and allows unfamiliar tasks to be accomplished with ease. Ease-of-use,
and the industry’s leading performance/value ratio, has always
been a key to AutoCIVIL’s popularity.
New
Contour/DTM Features
-
Save
triangle edits using new Save Triangle File command. Use new
Load Triangle File command to draw contours from a
previously saved TIN.
-
Quickly
edit contour TIN’s. Select Swap Triangles or Delete
Triangles and click on as many triangles as you like.
Previous version allowed editing only one triangle at a time.
-
Create
TIN and plot contours directly from AutoCAD points. New
command allows you to Process Points from AutoCAD point
objects on any layer in the drawing. There is no longer any
need to first import the AutoCAD points using AutoUtil.
-
Create
TIN and plot contours directly from text (ASCII) file with
one mouse click. New command allows you to Process Points
directly from the text file. There is no longer any need to
first import the points as a user-defined file.
New
Plotting Features
-
Option
to include automatic annotation of existing and proposed
elevation at the centerline on cross section plots.
-
Option
to include automatic annotation of elevation at the staking
points (i.e. "daylight line’) on cross section plots
-
Option
to include a grid on cross section plots.
-
New
AutoRoads command, "Horizontal Control Points,"
plots PI, PC, PT, CC, POC, etc. on plan view. Various
attributes can be included, including station, coordinates,
delta angle, curve radius, tangent length, degree of
curvature, external distance and curve length. The labels
for each attribute can be specified by the user. Attribute
labels can be saved in "library files," and later
imported for use in other projects.
-
New
AutoRoads command, "Vertical Control Points,"
plots PVI, PVC, PVT and highest or lowest point of the
vertical curve on the alignment centerline (plan view).
Station and elevation attributes can be included. The labels
for these attributes can be specified by the user. Attribute
labels can be saved in a "library file," and later
imported for use in other projects.
-
New
AutoRoads command, "Plot Curve Table" plots a
table containing horizontal curve information on the drawing.
The table may include as few or as many curves as desired.
Various attributes can be included in the table, including
PI station, coordinates, azimuth back, azimuth ahead, delta
angle, curve radius, tangent length, degree of curvature,
external distance and curve length. The labels for each
attribute can be specified by the user. Attribute labels can
be saved in a "library file," and later imported
for use in other projects (a single library file defines the
labels for all three new plotting commands).
Additional
Improvements
-
When
metric units are selected in the AutoRoads Control Data
dialog box, the program will annotate stationing using
metric (SI) conventions, and will automatically update the
Volume Conversion Factor
-
All
commands that require the user to specify an alignment will
now open a Windows file manager dialog box and allow the
user to browse for the file. In previous versions, the user
had to type the filename and path on the AutoCAD command
line
